Police on lookout for suspect in Hannaford robbery try

ROCHESTER - Police are on the lookout today for both a suspect and a person of interest in the robbery of a woman in the parking lot of the Milton Road Hannaford's in Rochester Monday evening.

The incident occurred around 5:15 p.m. when police say a suspect approached a female in the parking lot of the store and demanded her purse before fleeing on foot.

No weapon was involved.

This is a surveillance image of a person of interest police are looking to talk to about the incident.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6-foot tall with a stocky build and scruffy facial hair. He was last seen wearing a tan "beanie" style hat, dark pants, and a dark jacket possibly with a red stripe on the side.

Rochester Police were assisted on scene by New Hampshire State Police who conducted a canine track which was unsuccessful. Police are also asking for the public's assistance in locating a male as a person of interest from previous incidents at the store.
