FARMINGTON - Police are hoping the public can help find a local man who has not been seen by family members since April and has had no email communication with them since October.

Timothy Christian Jarvis, whose last known place of residence was Farmington, was last known to be driving a 1997 four-door gold Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, according to a statement by Farmington Police released on Saturday.

Jarvis' parents live in Arkansas.

"It is of vital importance that Timothy's face and missing status be brought to the public as someone may have information leading to his location," police stated. "It's also important to find his vehicle which could be with him or abandoned somewhere in surrounding communities."

The family has told police email correspondence stopped without explanation or cause.

Jarvis, who is in his early 20s, is about 6 feet tall and 185 pounds with brown hair. He has brown eyes, wears glasses and has two chicken pox scars on his face.

Farmington Police urge anyone who has information on Jarvis to call the department at (603) 755-2731.
