Police seeking to close in on gunman who fired shots at officer inside Saks MHP

ROCHESTER - Rochester Police are currently urging residents of Saks Trailer Park to shelter in place after an individual shot at a police cruiser earlier today before running into the woods off Milton Road near Periwinkle Drive.

The incident began around 1:50 a.m. when an officer attempted to stop a vehicle, which pulled onto Periwinkle Drive. Moments later shots were fired at the officer, who was not struck, police say.
