Police sound Amber Alert for missing Merrimack 5-year-old

CONCORD - The Attorney Generals Office announced late Friday night that multiple law enforcement agencies are on the lookout for a missing Merrimack child who may have been taken by his maternal mother and a man.

Officials are requesting the public's assistance in locating five-year-old Elijah (Eli) Lewis, who was last seen by what are being described as "independent individuals" around six months ago.

DCYF reported Elijah's unknown whereabouts to police on Thursday, according to the AG's office press release.

Officials are trying to locate Elijah's mother. Danielle Denise Dauphinais, 35, who may be in the company of Joseph Stapf, 30.

The couple are believed to be driving a red/maroon 2007 Toyota Tundra with New Hampshire license plate JOJOD78.

Dauphinais is described as 5'4" and around 165 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Stapf is said to be 5'10" and around 170 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.
