Police sseking public's help in locating Wolfeboro man

WOLFEBORO - Wolfeboro and State Police are asking for the public's help in finding a Wolfeboro man who has gone missing.

The state's Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert System was activated on Friday seeking the whereabout of John Skelton, 65, who suffers from mental health issues, according to the family.

Skelton is described as being 6-foot-0 and 195 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

He was reported missing to the Wolfeboro Police Department on Thursday around 9 p.m. after he was overdue to return home from a doctor's appointment.

His vehicle was located just before midnight on Route 28 in the town of Alton.

If anyone makes contact with Skelton they are asked to notify Wolfeboro Police at (603) 569-1444
