Potential anglers take notice: Free N.H. winter fishing day scheduled for Jan. 17

New Hampshire's winter free fishing day is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 17, when no license is required to fish throughout New Hampshire.

Persons participating in a fishing tournament must still hold a license, even on free fishing day.
