Quality Electric of Rochester recently held a ribbon cutting with the Dover Chamber of Commerce.

After gaining experience in the electrical trade for 10 years, owner Eric Hope felt ready to take the leap from working for someone to owning his own business. So, 5 years ago, he started Quality Electric as a way to put the skills that he learned to use as a business owner instead of just as an employee for someone else.

"After 15 years of learning and mastering the trade, I felt confident that I was ready to start my own electrical business," he said. "I wanted more for myself than to just work for someone, I felt ready to have a business of my own and lead my own team."
