ROCHESTER - Several hundred turned out at the Governor's Inn on Friday to celebrate the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce 2021 Friday the 13th Raffle Bash.

This year's Raffle Bash, underwritten by D.F. Richard Energy, included a spooky-themed event, including Halloween-type decorations and games.

Tickets, sponsored by Service Credit Union, afforded folks the chance to win $10,000 or a 2021 Harley-Davidson FXBBS Street Bob motorcycle.

Only 325 tickets were sold at $100 each, with a reverse-style raffle charged with proclaiming a winner.

Emceeing the evening again was Matt Beaulieu of Service Credit Union, who called out - and often light-heartedly mocked - the losers as he called out their number and names 50 at a time.

The majority of attendees took advantage of the air-conditioned main ballroom at the inn, while many opted for outdoor seating on the inn's spacious patio.

For refreshments indoor and outdoor bars were avaialble.

As part of the evening the Governor's Inn put out a delicious buffet spread including salad, pasta, meat balls with cheese and fried fish.

Those who purchased their tickets through the Chamber office or at participating restaurants were able to receive a $10 gift card from the 110 Grill, Granite Steak & Grill, La Corona Mexican Restaurant, Lilac City Grille, Mitchell Hill BBQ Grill & Brew, Pepper's Landing, Spaulding Steak & Ale at The Governor's Inn or Windjammer's Seafood Restaurant.

An early bird ticket buy raffle held earlier this summer and sponsored by HBL insurance awarded $250 to the winner.

After the losing numbers were named by Beaulieu they became eligible for donated second-chance prizes cumulatively valued at more than $5,500.

Event programs were sponsored by Sports Medicine and Orthopedics.

Other evenf sponsors included Atlantic Broadband, Waste Management, Service Credit Union, Daystar, Laars Heating Systems, Xfinity, First Seacoast Bank, Hervey's Tire, Profile Bank, WitWay Supply, Cremmon Creative, Bank of New Hampshire and Independence Financial Advisors.

Media Partner for the event was The Rochester Voice.
