ROCHESTER - Ralph Palumbo of Rochester died November 15, 2025 after a period of failing health. Born October 20, 1941, Ralph was the son of Thomas & Virginia Palumbo.

Ralph owned and operated Palumbo's Take Out since 1976 starting in Somersworth before relocating to Rochester, where it became a beloved local fixture. Known for fresh fare-especially his signature snappy hot dogs and tasty burgers-Ralph proudly declared that Palumbo's had "the hottest buns in town".

Ralph enjoyed riding Harley motorcycles, spending time at the beach, cooking for others and he took great pride in his Italian heritage as well as his dancing prowess.

Ralph is survived by his daughters, Robin (Tom) Thompson of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Angela (Allen) Hastings of Middletown, DE, 4 grandchildren Reed & Britt Thompson and Elaine & Lucy Hastings, sisters Marcia and Kim along with several nieces and many loyal friends & customers.
