ROCHESTER - Randolph D. Boston Sr., 69, of Rochester, N.H., died peacefully at Frisbie Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, after a long illness. Randy was born in Brattleboro, Vt., on May 14, 1947. He married Kathleen (Plourde) Boston on May 4, 1974. Randy passed away one day before their 43rd anniversary and 11 days short of his 70th birthday.
Randy worked for the City of Rochester for 35 years. At the time of his retirement he was foreman of the Water, Sewer, and Highway Dept. Randy enjoyed spending time with his family, spending summers at his camper at Ayers Lake Campground, hunting, fishing, and doing crossword puzzles.
Randy is survived by his wife Kathleen Boston, his daughters Bonnie Boston and her fiancé Ron Hebert, Traci Boston, Amanda Moreau and her husband Jared, his son Randolph D. Boston Jr., and wife Karen, Grandchildren Ryan Boston, Kayla Boston, Tyler Blaisdell, Cameryn Miller, Kyle Cole Geary, Kory Downing, Keegan Downing, Hayleigh MacDonald, Hannah MacDonald, Austin Gagnon and Alex Vollkommer and a great-granddaughter Kaylin Boston. He also leaves behind his Brother Wayne Boston and his wife Jennifer, his sister-in laws Eileen Gunkel and her husband Karl, and Pauline Leclerc and her husband Richard.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Lucy Boston, his sister Bonnie (Boston) Legassie, his daughter Michelle Miller and a granddaughter Alyssa Boston.
