Report of suspicious man in Gonic neighborhood yields drug arrest

GONIC - A brief investigation into a report of a suspicious man in a Rochester neighborhood on Saturday yielded his arrest on a warrant as well as additional drug charges.

Rochester Police caught up with the man in the area of Flagg Road in Gonic after they got a report of a suspicious stranger in the neighborhood.

After approaching the man and finding out he had a warrant out for him, police also found what is believed to be a significant amount of crack cocaine and heroin in his possession while taking him into custody.

Tino Marino, 38, 119 MILTON Road Apt. #17, East Rochester, was charged with two felony counts of drug possession. He was held without bail pending an arraignment.

Details on the previous arrest warrant were not immediately available.
