CONCORD - State and Manchester Police are looking to speak to a person of interest in the ongoing investigation into the shooting deaths of a Concord couple last month.
The person of interest is described as a white male in his late 20s or early 30s, around 5'10" tall with medium build, short brown hair, and clean-shaven. He was seen in the vicinity of the shooting incident on April 18 wearing a dark blue jacket (possibly with a hood), khaki-colored pants and carrying a black backpack.
Stephen and Djeswende Reid left their residence in the Alton Woods apartment complex around 2:20 p.m. on the afternoon of April 18, and went for a walk that led them to the area of the Broken Ground Trails which are off of Portsmouth Street in Concord.
Family and friends did not see or hear from them after that. The Reids' bodies were found in the early evening hours of April 21 in a wooded area in close proximity to the Marsh Loop Trail.
Anyone with information about the identity or whereabouts of this male in the sketch is asked to contact the Concord Police Department or the Concord Regional Crimeline.
In addition, the reward facilitated by the Concord Regional Crimeline has increased to $33,500.00.
Twenty thousand dollars of the reward was donated by an anonymous donor who has pledged the funds for only those who come forward with information within the next 60 days. Five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) of the reward was donated by another anonymous donor. In addition, the Concord Police Patrolmen's Association and Supervisors Association as well as the Retired New Hampshire State Police Troopers Association have contributed to the reward amount.
