SPRINGVALE, Maine - Richard E. Leclair, 82, of Springvale, died peacefully at home on March 20, 2022. Born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 15, 1939, Richard lived in East Rochester, N.H., before joining the Air Force as a mechanic for the Thunderbirds and was very proud of standing guard on Air Force One.

While living in California he worked for Star building where he retired. Richard loved hunting, fishing, and arguing about the Patriots with his family and friends. Richard is survived by his wife of 60 years, Cleora, brother Robert Leclair of Las Vegas, Nev., sister Ida Glidden of Farmington, N.H., children Amos and wife Amy of Acton, Loyd and girlfriend Brenda McDonald of Copperas Cove, Texas, Sally Pomeroy and boyfriend Larry Potvin of Acton. Grandchildren Rick Leclair and wife Sarah, Samantha Pomeroy, Sawyer Pomeroy and Kelci Leclair. Great grandchildren Payton Leclair, Trevor Carlton, Lailah Leclair and Brooklynn Pomeroy. Richard is predeceased by mother Ruby Couture, Father Henry Leclair, Stepfather Lloyd Leclair, brothers Leon Leclair and Butch Couture and grandson Brian Leclair.
