ROCHESTER - Richard Norton, 75, died Tuesday, June 23, 2015, after a long struggle with Parkinson's. He led a rich life as a schoolteacher, practicing his faith and giving to family and friends in any way he could. His lifelong passion for fishing brought him to the remote corners of New England. He was a handyman and gardener who stopped at only perfection. He is remembered for his love for all, unfaltering faith in God and wit that brought a smile to those who knew him.
He is survived by Priscilla, wife of 54 years, daughter Julie, son John and grandson Harrison who were joined by family and friends to return his body to the earth in Rochester and rejoice in his spirit that lives on.
