ROCHESTER - A Waterstone Retail spokesperson said the developer is well into discussions with potential tenants of their Phase 2 development at The Ridge on Route 11, with several big box stores, nationally renowned restaurants and a cinema complex earmarked as potential leasees.

Meanwhile, one of the centerpieces of the Ridge, a 5,000 square foot outdoor pavilion designed to host outdoor events, including farmers markets and outdoor concerts, is set for its grand opening this Memorial Day weekend, with musical groups already being lined up for the free event.

Waterstone spokesman Jennifer Fairfield said Cricket Wireless and T-Mobile cell phone services will move into what is known as Building 2 this summer, while the new state Liquor Store will be up and running later in the year.

A Starbucks is slated for the front of Building 2, and will be visible from Route 11, Fairfield added.

A Japanese restaurant named Eastern Paradise (previously Mikado) will locate at the western edge of Building 2 and will include an outdoor patio similar to the 110 Grill.

The outdoor park, itself, will be located just to the west of the 110 Grill.

With the recent opening of the Paper Store, only about 60,000 square feet of space is left to develop in the Phase 1 sector of The Ridge.

Phase II, which will include the cinema complex and additional restaurants comprises about an additional 160,000 square feet.
