ROCHESTER - Rilla Jovin, a longtime resident of Riverside Rest Home in Dover, formerly of Rochester and Hampton, died peacefully on Saturday, May 18, attended by the compassionate caregivers at Riverside.
Born Rilla Mae Dore on December 24, 1926, in Richmond, Maine, the second of five children of Charlie Everett Dore, Sr., and Ada Pearl Morrill, she was predeceased by her siblings Charlie Jr., Oliver, and Roberta, and her son Douglas, daughter Kathleen, and husband Richard Jovin.
Mrs. Jovin is survived by her brother Alden and sister-in-law Glenda Dore of Gray, Maine; her son Dale and daughter-in-law Donna Jovin of Norwood, Mass.; granddaughters Jennifer Jovin-Bernstein and husband Aaron of Rockville, Md., Katherine Jovin and fiance Brendan Reen of Watertown, Mass., and Rebecca Lewis, husband Curtis; great-granddaughter Olivia; great-grandson Blake of Denmark, Maine; several cousins; twenty nieces and nephews; many grand nieces and nephews and friends.
