ROCHESTER - Robbins Auto Repair & Sales had a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 7 in celebration of their new business at 20 Summer St. in Rochester.

They officially opened on Feb. 13.

While Robbins Auto Repair & Sales is the "new shop" in town, owner Douglas Robbins and his family are not new to Rochester. They have been residents since 2018 and, since day one, have described this community as home.

Over the years, the family behind Robbins Auto Repair & Sales has been involved in the community however they could. Some might recognize them from coaching Roger Allen baseball, attending local events and Christmas parades, or possibly from seeing Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny riding around on a motorcycle. They like to have fun, show up, and be part of the community, as well as do business in it.

When it comes to the shop, their goal is simple, says Robbins: "Bring back that old-school mechanic feel--the kind of place where you walk in and don't feel pressured or confused, and don't feel like you need a second opinion just to sleep at night."
