ROCHESTER - Robert "Bob" Leslie Arlin, Jr., 63 of Rochester, NH passed away surrounded by family on January 28, 2026, at Massachusetts General Hospital following a stroke. Bob was a man of faith and loved his family deeply. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Bob was a reliable and hard worker-spending his working years as a baker, lobsterman, and most recently a top-notch meat cutter for Market Basket for the last 20 years. When not at work, you could find him fishing, golfing, or bowling. Always with the furry love of his life, their dog Winni. He was also a fantastic cook and baker. Food was love for Bob.

Bob is survived by his wife of 21 years, Heather Denton Arlin, three children, Sarah and husband Seth Ross, Amanda and husband Jared Puglise, and David Arlin. Grandsons, Gavin Arlin and Carter Ross. Siblings, Jennifer and husband Marty Montour, Elizabeth and husband Miles Coggan and special nieces and nephew, Elizabeth Norwood, Nova Faulkner and Joel Norwood. There is now an empty space in many lives that was once occupied by his bright light, contagious laugh, and infectious smile. A real goofball with a heart of gold. Perhaps in his memory, you could wear tall socks with sneakers and shorts.
