SOMERSWORTH - Robert "Robbie" Chamberlain, 59, of Sherwood Glen, died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2023, after a sudden illness surrounded by his family.

He was born July 19, 1964, in Rochester to Robert and Marilyn (Ricker) (Chamberlain) George.

Robbie lived in Somersworth for the past 35 years after moving from Rochester. He was employed performing Quality Control at Goss Manufacturing. He served in the Navy. Robbie was a member of the American Legion Post 7 and the Rochester Lodge of Elks 1393. He enjoyed playing poker with his family, hunting, and fishing. Robbie was the rock of his family and the kind of man you want as a friend. He was well loved by all, a great all-around guy and always put others ahead of himself. His greatest accomplishments in life were his two great kids.

Members of his family include his wife of 38 years, Lisa (Laplume) Chamberlain of Somersworth, his son, Jacob Chamberlain of Somersworth, his daughter, Lindsay Chamberlain and her partner Chad Capalbo of Somersworth. His sisters: Lisa Hines and her husband Joe of Sanbornville, Lori Boucher and her husband Joe of Waterboro Maine; his stepfather Mike George of Farmington; his mother and father in-law who considered him a third son, Joyce and Joe Laplume, brother in-laws; Dennis Laplume and his wife Patti of Berwick, Maine and Dana Laplume and his wife Cindy of Rochester and several nieces and nephews.
