FARMINGTON - Robert Dame of Farmington died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2023. Bob was predeceased by his wife of 29 years, Linda (Libby) Dame.

He was the son of James and Esther Piader. Bob grew up in East Rochester, one of four children, Brother Richard, Sisters Elaine and Donna. Bob has seven children, Jerome (Jennifer), Michelle(Jason), Marc, Beverly, Therese (Scott), Bobby (Sami) and Rhonda. He has 20 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews who called him "Uncle Bobby".

Bob had a love for working on vintage vehicles and for the past 12 years spent his weekdays restoring vehicles. He was a lifelong mechanic working at Granite Ford and later in life transferred to UNH to work on the university vehicles until retirement. Bob and Linda spent many years camping at Beaver Hollow where he was called "Hayride Bob" as he drove his vintage jeep pulling a hay wagon around for the campers, playing the Chipmunks cassette for all the children to enjoy. Bob was a race fan and enjoyed watching Sunday races while kicking back in his custom recliner.

The family would like to thank Toni and Donnie Lambert for being more like family to Bob and kept him busy daily and always extended an invitation to holidays to keep him preoccupied from the sadness if missing Linda.
