LEBANON - Robert H. Grenier, 88, died on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. Born July 22, 1927, in Rochester, the son of the late Arthur and Mary (Dubois) Grenier.
Robert served in the US Navy during WWII. He spent his life in Rochester and Lebanon. He worked in the construction industry for 40 years including his own company, Grenier Construction.
He enjoyed hiking, camping, gardening, fairs, football, winters in Arizona and Florida, spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. Robert will be remembered as a loving husband, father, Grampy, brother, and friend.
Robert is survived by Donna, his loving wife and partner of 36 years, his sons Ronnie Grenier and wife Lisa of Rochester, Gary Grenier and wife Ruth of Lebanon, Maine, daughters Shirley Beauchemin of South Berwick, Maine, Donna Cartier and husband Richard of Rochester, stepchildren Laurie Labrecque of Hampton, N.H., Gary Labrecque and wife Heather of Hubert, N.C., 14 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one on the way. Robert is also survived by his brothers Norman Grenier, Rene Grenier (wife Phyllis), Richard Grenier and his sisters Claire Daigle and Cecile Germon, many nieces and nephews and their families.
He was predeceased by his daughter Kathleen Grenier.
