FARMINGTON - Robert "Bob" R. Ouellette, 84, died peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. He was surrounded by his loving family. Born on November 13, 1939, in Rollinsford, Bob was the son of Romeo and Annie (Gallant) Ouellette.

A Rollinsford native, Bob, like a lot of young men of that generation quit school to join the Army where he completed his GED. After leaving the Army he moved to Connecticut and went on to begin his career as a machinist at Pratt & Whitney. Known for his incredible work ethic, Bob's career didn't stop there. He was the proud partner of J & R Window Cleaning, the Owner Operator of Bullet Clean then Double Eagle Janitorial services, and had a flower business, the Flower Mill. He also enjoyed time spent at Foxwoods Casino so much that he began a job there as a Poker and Blackjack Dealer, then came full circle to retire from Pratt & Whitney. After retiring he moved to Florida where he worked for several car dealerships doing dealer trades. He had recently moved back to New Hampshire.

When away from the work that he loved, Bob loved going out dancing the night away and working on crossword puzzles. He was a "Wheel watcher" and loved Jeopardy, also a huge UConn basketball fan, along with the Boston Red Sox. He enjoyed oysters and made a mean Lobster Stew. He loved Dolphins and the Majestic Eagle, and he also loved time spent on the beach. More than anything he loved his family; he could always be counted on if they needed anything.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Romeo and Annie Ouellette; fiancé, Jeanette Hyland; Brother John "Jack" Ouellette, Sister Simone (Ouellette) her husband Guido Haggenmiller; and grandson, "Big" Rob Stefanik.

Left to cherish his memory, are his children, Gloria Rasimas and husband, Rick of Marlborough, Conn., Ronald Ouellette and wife, Barbara, of Lebanon, Conn., and Beth Ouellette and fiancé, Bruce Wood, of Farmington, step-children, Scott Hyland and wife, Tammy, Jeff Hyland, and Chris Hyland and wife, Janet; Sister-in-law, Lorraine Ouellette; grandchildren, Rachel Conklin, Amie Leone, Heather LeBlanc, Robert "RJ" Wood, Daniel Wood, Abygail Wood, Dalton Wood, Jamison Hyland, Devin Hyland, Jadyn Hyland, and Justin Hyland; great-grandchildren, Jackson Leone and Naijah Grant; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
