WASHINGTON - Robert W. Kelly (BK Southie), 65, formerly from South Boston, Mass., of Rochester and Washington, N.H. died suddenly Monday at his home in Washington. Bobby was born to the late Richard P. and Frances L. (Alessi) Kelly; he was also predeceased by his sister, Patricia Kelly.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a longtime government employee for the Department of Defense in addition to The University of New Hampshire.
Survived by his best friend and wife of 40 years, Susan M. (Kuzmich) Kelly of Rochester and Washington, daughters, Danielle Kelly of Cape Cod, Mass. and her son Anthony Smith of Wolfeboro, Samantha E. and her husband Christopher and their daughter, (BK's first granddaughter) Lyla Gagne of Milton; devoted brother Richard (Moose) and his wife Sharon Kelly of Weymouth, Mass., and his best friend and companion, his dog Liberty (Libby). BK is a also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law Stephen and Kathy Kuzmich of South Boston, Mass., Paul and Karen Kuzmich of Medfield, Mass., Karen and Pat Ceurvels of Braintree, Mass., Nancy and Eddie Burns of Abington, Mass., best friend and brother-in-law John Kuzmich and Heather Elliott of Abington, Mass., Gail and Ed Coakley of South Boston, Jo-Anne Folk and Scott Ceurvels of Weymouth, Sandra and Bob Healey of Fla., nieces and nephews Patrick, Michelle, Cam, Alexa, Michael, Jenn, Danielle, Korey, Jared, Victoria, Courtney, Skylar, Alexander, Jack, EJ, Abigail, Sean, Jaclyn, Stephen, Patrick Jr., Bryan, Alex, baby Jack C, Amara, Aven, Anthony, Tilly, Abby, Tyler, Lenny, Gabbi and Cameron Grace, dear friend of Billy Keiseling, Bill McHugh and Chuck "Shick" Reddy, many uncles, aunts and cousins.
