Roberta (Bobbi) Knight, 87, died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Dec. 17, 2023.

Bobbi was born on July 21, 1936, to Arthur and Virginia Turner. She was raised in Barrington where she spent most of her life. She graduated from Spaulding High School in 1954. Following high school, Bobbi attended hair dressing school and ran a salon in Durham.

In 1956, Bobbi married the love of her life Fred Knight. Together they started a Towing and Auto Repair Shop known as Knight's Garage, along with raising and selling exotic birds known as Bobbi Knight's Exotic Birds, both in Barrington.

What Bobbi loved most was her family and all the special times with her grandkids. She also enjoyed her times spent in Florida.

Bobbi is survived by her husband of 67 years, Fred Knight. Her daughter, Kim Jackson and husband Craig Jackson, her son Kevin Knight, her brother Lt. Col. Bruce Turner, her granddaughter Kari Elliott and husband Keith and granddaughter Mindy Clark and husband Robert, many great grandchildren and two great-great-granddaughters. Bobbi is predeceased by her parents, her sister Jacqueline Dunton and her grandson Jamison Minor.
