ROCHESTER - A Rochester couple was arrested on drug charges Christmas day after police say they found drugs and drug paraphernalia in their North Main Street apartment.

Kyle Leavy, 29, and Heather Smith, 31, both of 173 North Main St., Apt. C, were arrested around 8:50 p.m. after police executed a search warrant.

Leavy was charged with felony possession of controlled/narcotic drug with intent to distribute and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, a Class A misdemeanor. He was held on $5,000 cash pending a Monday arraignment in Rochester District Court.

Smith was charged with felony possession of controlled/narcotic drug and was released on personal recognizance with an arraignment in February.
