Rochester man charged with drunk driving in Old Dover Road rollover

ROCHESTER - A Rochester man was arrested for drunken driving after he rolled his car on Old Dover Road Wednesday evening.

The crash occurred in the area of 58 Old Dover Road around 6:45 when police say David Ellis, 53, of Rochester, was driving a Mercury Grand Marquis headed south when he lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway causing the vehicle to rollover.

At some point during the accident the Grand Marquis struck an unoccupied, legally parked Mercury Mountaineer, causing damage to the rear of the vehicle.

Ellis was evaluated on scene for minor injuries, but was not transported to the hospital. He was arrested for driving under the influence, a class B misdemeanor.
