Rochester man faces life sentence in fentanyl overdose death of Brandon Snee

A Rochester man has been accused of causing the death of another Rochester man by giving him a fatal dose of fentanyl in 2023.

Justin Wojtowic, 35, of 39 Winter St., Rochester, was indicted earlier this month in the death of Brandon J. Snee, 41.

Court documents alleged that Wojtowic did "knowingly dispense the schedule II controlled drug fentanyl to Brandon Snee, who died as a result of ingesting that drug."

The charge of dispensing a drug resulting in death is classified as a special felony punishable by up to life imprisonment.

The March Strafford Cpunty grand jury indictments were handed down on March 19 and released on Monday.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, rather that enough evidence has been presented to move forward to trial.
