Rochester Rec and Arena unveils extensive fall programming for all ages

ROCHESTER - Rochester today is enjoying the final weekend of summer, but Rochester Rec and Arena is already focusing on the fall with multiple opportunities for exercise and family fun, including lots of activities for seniors, too.

As announced in a recent email sent The Rochester Voice, some of the highlights are Family Open Gym, which starts Sept. 10, Public Skate starting Sept. 16 and Youth Basketball registrations, which run from Nov. 1 to Dec. 15.

Family Open Gyms are held on Sunday from either 10-10:45 a.m. or 11-11:45 a.m. The cost is $5. This program is for Rochester residents only. Contact Rochester Rec and Arena at 603.332.4120 for reservations.

The public skate that begins Sept. 16 has times on Saturdays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The cost is $5 and $5 for skate rentals.

There are also many programs for seniors over 50 including, Zumba, pickleball, chair yoga, quilting and crafting and much more. Below is a listing of the programs.
