ROCHESTER - Rochester Rec & Arena has plenty of activities for youngsters and teenagers alike as we had to New Year's Eve and the beginning of 2026.

Beginning on Jan. 5 kids age 7-12 can sign up to learn Shotokan Karate on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5-7 p.m. Cost is $80/resident or $90 nonresident for two months.

There is also a continuing program this winter for Open Gym for home school students and families on Tuesdays from 11:30 am-1pm. Free, residents only.

For toddlers there is a play group on Fridays from 9:30am-11am. Free, residents only.

And toddlers can welcome the new year with a New Year's Party Dec 31st from 10-11am. Free, registration required.

Rochester teen nights are scheduled for Jan 3 and Feb 7. Open to Rochester teens in 6th grade to age 17. Free, registration required.
