ROCHESTER - Rochester Police today are on the hunt for a bank robber who hit a downtown credit union on Friday afternoon.

Police responded around 2:30 p.m. to the Service Credit Union on South Main where they learned a lone male entered the bank and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is describes as being black, about 5'7" tall with and average build.

Police say he fled on foot and may have gotten into a vehicle.

No one was injured during the robbery, and it is unknown if the suspect was armed at time.

It is not clear whether the demands for cash came from a note or not.

Police are asking anyone who has information on the robbery or can identify the suspect contact them at 603-330-7128.
