ROCHESTER - A teenager walking in a Wakefield Street crosswalk was injured on Monday when a car struck him a little before 1 p.m.

Police are saying that a 2003 Dodge Stratus driven by Debby Richardson, 46, of Ossipee was traveling south on Wakefield Street when she struck the 18-year-old male, who was from East Rochester.

He was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with what police described as nonlife-threatening injuries.
