Rochester virus cases down to just 38; hospitalizations also fall

CONCORD - DHHS announced 252 new positive test results for COVID-19 on Monday, for a current PCR test positivity rate of 6.1 percent, the highest positivity rate in more than a week.

The newly identified cases include 34 under 18 and 38 from Strafford County.

Local current cases show 38 in Rochester, 51 in Dover, 49 in Somersworth, 11 in Barrington and 1-5 in Strafford, Farmington and Milton.

No new deaths were reported on Monday, while those hospitalized with the virus shrank to 109.
