DOVER - A Rochester woman accused of allowing a 10-year-old access to methamphetamine is facing up to five years in state prison if convicted.
Felicia Smart, 30, of 105 Whitehouse Road, was indicted last month on a charge of prohibited conduct, a felony that also calls for a $10.000 fine.
Smart, according to court paperwork, "did knowingly cause or permit (the victim) to inhale, be exposed to, have contact with, or ingest methamphetamine."
The incident is alleged to have occurred on May 8, 2022 in Rochester.
Smart will be arraigned on the charge on Aug. 31 in Strafford Superior Court.
The Strafford County July grand jury indictments were handed down on July 20 and released on Aug. 1.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt, rather that enough evidence has been brought forward to move forward to trial.
