DOVER - A Rochester woman has been indicted in a domestic violence case involving a family member who was around eight years old at the time of the alleged assaults.
Victoria Hall, 20, of Rochester Hill Road, stands formally charged with three second-degree assaults and one simple assault.
Court documents accuse Hall of slapping, grabbing and biting the child, leaving her bruised and bleeding.
The incidents took place on Feb. 1 and March 7.
Hall faces up to 26 years in state prison if convicted on all charges.
The July Strafford County indictments were handed down on July 20 and released today.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt, rather that enough evidence has been presented to move forward to trial.
