ROCHESTER - A Rochester woman was arrested for driving under the influence on Tuesday after her car crashed on French Hussey Road.

Police were called to the scene of the crash around 5:30 p.m. and found that a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Laura Kirkwood, 26, had turned onto French Hussey Road from Walnut Street, drifted off the roadway and into a ditch off the shoulder.

Police found the car off of the northbound side of French Hussey Road facing south.

Kirkwood, who was uninjured, was arrested for DUI.

The vehicle was damaged, and airbags had deployed.

Kirkwood was released on $1,500 personal recognizance and will be arraigned next month in Rochester District Court.
