DOVER - A Milton woman and an East Rochester man were among eight arrested on drug charges as a result of Granite Hammer, a monthlong drug interdiction operation carried out by the Strafford County Drug Task Force.
The arrests were announced on Monday and include trafficking and possession charges for heroin, crack cocaine, meth and oxycodone.
Those rounded up in the sweep include:
Charles Elliott, (no photo provided) 57, of 241 Nutes Road. Milton for possession of the controlled drug oxycodone Hydrochloride. He was released on $2,500 Personal Recognizance Bail.
Sarah Hall, 34, of 82 Main St. East Rochester for sale of the controlled drug oxycodone hydrochloride and operating after suspension. She was released on $5,000 Personal Recognizance Bail.
Jessica Pittman, 35, of 62 Main St. Apt. 208 in Somersworth, was charged with possession of approximately 50 grams of the controlled drug Heroin and approximately 18 grams of Crack Cocaine. She is currently at the Strafford County Jail being held on $10,000 cash bail.
Dakota Charbonneau, 23, of 22B Washington St. Somersworth for criminal liability for conduct of another and possession of the controlled drug crack cocaine. He is currently at the Strafford County Jail being held on $5,000 cash bail and was also charged with Violation of Probation.
Richard Sharpe, 36, of 3 Lafayette St. Haverhill, Mass., for possession of the controlled drug methamphetamine. He was released on $5,000 Personal Recognizance Bail.
Melissa Parker, 45, of 5 Georgia Pine Ln. Farmington for possession of approximately 35 grams of the controlled drug heroin with intent to distribute. She was released on $5,000 Personal Recognizance Bail.
Susan Hurd, 57, of 11 Church St. Farmington for possession of approximately 5 grams of the controlled drug heroin. She was released on $5,000 Personal Recognizance Bail.
Adam Nagle, 27, of 7 Lindenshire Ave Exeter for possession of the controlled drug heroin.
All of the drug charges are felonies with those charged already arraigned with pending court dates.
The arrests were made with the assistance of the Dover, Somersworth, Rochester, Farmington, and Milton Police Departments, DEA Tactical Diversion Squad, New Hampshire State Police NIU, and NH Probation and Parole.
According to Sgt. Brandon Drysdale, members of the Task force, state police, DEA and local patrol units, target drug houses, high areas of drug trafficking corridors, parking lots anywhere where there is a high level of drug activity, much like a Dover operation executed earlier this fall.
The Granite Hammer operation is funded by an opioid reduction grant approved by the state and the funds dispersed by Department of Safety.
The Strafford County Sheriff's Office received an allotment of $83,762, Drysdale said.
