Rochester woman remains in jail after Thursday arrest

ROCHESTER - A Rochester woman was arrested on Wednesday evening after she was stopped while riding her bike near the Knight Street Cumby's and taken into custody on two bench warrants as well as a capias out of Strafford County Superior court.

Jamie Macbrien, 31, with no fixed address, was also charged with three counts of receiving stolen property after the arresting officer found three credit cards in her purse in another woman's name.

Officers reached out to the woman, who was from Maine, and were directed to Maine State Police who said the three credit cards had been stolen in a recent burglary.

Macbrien was arraigned today in Strafford County Superior Court, and remains at Strafford County Jail on no bail.
