ROCHESTER - , 88 of Rochester died on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Wentworth Douglass Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on May 8, 1934 in Dover to John and Ruth (Kelly) Buzzell.

Roger graduated from Somersworth High School in 1953, where he was an All State Football player. He entered the Army in 1955 and served until 1957.After discharge from the Army he was employed by General Electric in Somersworth and retired after 46 years of service.

Roger was predeceased by his son, Michael in 1989 and by six brothers and sisters; Fred Buzzell of Massachusetts, Edwin Buzzell of Eliot, Maine, Etta St. Laurent of Somersworth, Raymond Buzzell of Dover, Marian Howland of Rye and Phyllis Kyreages of Dover.

Roger is survived by his wife, Priscilla (Pollini) Buzzell. Roger and Priscilla celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary this past year. Also surviving Roger are his children; Sally Codyer of Rochester, Kim Doucette of Rochester and James Buzzell and wife Renee of Somersworth. He also leaves his grandchildren Jason Lepage and wife Melissa of Rollinsford, Amy Burby and husband Dan of Rochester, Charlene Doucette of Rochester, Chevelle Bazo and husband Brodie of Nottingham, Lauren Buzzell of Newton, and Cady Aquino of San Antonio, TX. Roger leaves 6 great grandchildren - Cameron Lepage of Nashua, Conner Doucette of Rochester, Alana Downs of Rochester, Mariano Aquino of San Antonio, TX, Arianna Demanche of Rochester and Everly Bazo of Nottingham.

Roger and his wife Priscilla enjoyed dancing and golfing and also sailed on many cruises. "Buzzy" as he was known to all, especially loved golfing with his GE buddies. But, Buzzy's biggest love was his family. Many times a day we would hear him shout "I love my family"! Our family will greatly miss their Grampy.
