ROCHESTER - The Rochester Opera House is gearing up for April Theatre Camp, which runs this year from April 23-27.

Camp is now held at the new Performance & Arts Center in downtown Rochester.

Theatre Camp is a hands-on experience offering lessons in acting, dancing, singing, production, costuming, and more. Students also have the opportunity to learn theater techniques through fun games, improvisation, and enriching theater-related arts and crafts.

Although no theater experience is required, students will work to showcase their theater skills for an evening performance on the final day of camp for family, friends, and the public.

The Rochester Opera House is now accepting registrations for April Vacation Camp as well as Summer Theatre Camp at its box office in City Hall.

Registration forms and camp dates and times can be found on the Opera House website.

The Rochester Opera House is sponsored by TD Bank North, Eastern Propane, Shaheen & Gordon P.A., and Norm Vetter Foundations.

Theatre Camp is sponsored by Bank of NH. The Rochester Opera House is located in City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester NH.
