Rolande Bougie ... leaves 11 children, 33 grandchildren

ROCHESTER - Rolande E. Bougie, 78, died Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at the Rosewood Manor in Gonic after a period of failing health. Rolande was born in St. Guillaume, P.Q., Canada on July 2, 1938, the daughter of Alfred and Flora Laurion and had been living in Rochester since 1940, moving from Canada. She was a graduate of St. Leo's parochial school in Gonic, and was a communicant of Holy Rosary Church in Rochester and was a member of the St. Ann Sodality.
She was predeceased by her husband, Rheal R. Bougie who died in 2010 and by a daughter, Diane Kays who died in 2009.
Surviving members of the family include: six sons, Roland Bougie of Deering, N.H., Arthur Bougie, David Bougie, Pierre Bougie, Paul Bougie and Michael Bougie all of Rochester, five daughters, Theresa Lawton of Pekamah, Neb., Louise Frenette of Rochester, Jeannine McConnell of Dansville, N.Y., Marie-Rose Iob of Milton, and Lise Emmond of Somersworth. She also leaves one brother, Arthur (Albert) Laurion and his wife Elaine of Rochester, 33 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
