Romeo Jacques ... longtime Rochester resident; at 90

STUART, Fla. - Romeo Louis Jacques, 90, of Stuart, died peacefully January 3, 2023.

Romeo was born Dec. 28, 1932, in Somersworth, N.H., the son of Romeo H. Jacques and Angele (Tanguay). He proudly served in the Navy and Naval Reserve, and was employed at General Electric for over 40 years. He was a longtime resident of Rochester, prior to his retirement with his wife Marcy, in Stuart.

Romeo is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marceline (Mireault), his sister Irene Dubois, nephews, nieces, cousins, and countless friends. Romeo's good nature, kind heart, steady positive presence, and enjoyment of life made him an unforgettable friend to all who knew him and even to those who made his casual acquaintance. He was truly loved.
