LEBANON, Mo. - Ronald (Ron) Wilfred Grenier died peacefully on Tuesday, May 10, 2021, with his children by his side in Lebanon at the age of 81 years and 8 months.

He was born on September 11, 1939 in Rochester, N.H., as the only child to Thelma and Archille Grenier. On July 9, 1977, Ron was united in marriage to Rachel P. Grenier and together they have four children. Ron was preceded in death by Rachel and his parents.

He is survived by his four children; Lisa Bedard and her husband Tom of Lebanon, Maine, Marshall Grenier and his wife Stacy of Madison, Ala., Cindy Hurley and her husband John of Rochester, Robert Michael and his wife Rose of Dixon.

He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and his furry four legged companion Cowboy. Ron was born and raised in Rochester and proudly served his country in the Navy from 1959 through 1963. Ron retired from the Portsmouth Navel Shipyard after 23 years of service and he and Rachel moved to Lebanon, Mo, in 2006 to make it their home. In life, he and Rachel enjoyed going on cruises to visit foreign shores and traveling the country. He enjoyed fishing and gardening and sharing his life experiences with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and in that we celebrate his life accomplishments, his service to our country and the memories he has created for his family and many friends and acquaintances to share.
