Route 108 upgrades get airing in Rochester, Somersworth and Dover

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation is conducting a preliminary engineering and environmental review of proposed improvements to a five-mile section of Route 108 in Dover, Somersworth, and Rochester.

To get the word out three public informational meetings will be held, and each meeting will contain the same overall presentation and plan materials but will contain more details for the host city. Each meeting will begin with an Open House where improvement plans will be displayed for viewing and questions can be answered. A formal presentation will follow with opportunities for the public to ask questions. The meetings will be held on:

Tuesday, September 19: Open House from 6-7 p.m., Presentation: 7 p.m., at Dover City Hall, Council Chambers, 288 Central Avenue, Dover.

Thursday September 21: Open House from 6-7 p.m., Presentation: 7 p.m., at Somersworth City Hall Council Chambers, 1 Government Way, Somersworth.

Tuesday, September 26: Open House from 6-7 p.m., Presentation: 7 p.m., at Rochester Public Works, 209 Chestnut Hill Road, Rochester.
