ROCHESTER - Russell C. Freeman passed away April 3, 2021 peacefully and quickly in the loving care of Wentworth Douglas Hospice Care while at Lincoln Terrace assisted living facility in Rochester.
Russell was born Oct 24, 1939 to Alice (Elliot) and Charles Freeman of Dover. He was their only son having 7 sisters Jackie, Ruth, Florence, Alice, June,Joanne and his only remaining sister Carol.
His "Annie" whom he was previously married to always remained close to his heart. They had two children Russell M Freeman and Kathy A McKenney. He had two other children from a previous marriage Kevin and Karin of Louisiana whom he connected to later in his life. He was the proud grandfather of Mark, Mariah, and Kevin McKenney. And spent his last hour with his great grand children. "Beautiful" Zoe and Landyn Paul.
Russell was always proud of the time he served in the Air Force, proudly hanging his picture on the wall. He admired JFK collecting a lot of memorabilia, anything to do with cars racing them, fixing them and a model car collection. He loved smoking, always telling you not to. He passed knowing his carton was in his bureau saying "I don't want to run out". There will be a future burial at Cold Spring Cemetery in Rochester NH.
