Ruth A. Strong ... longtime nurse; at 86

ROCHESTER - Ruth A. Strong, formerly of Aidrian Circle, died March 30, 2024, after a period of declining health.

Born on March 14, 1938, to Emrick and Alberta Erickson in Somerville, Mass. Ruth lived most of her life in Rochester and worked as a self-employed nurse. She was the widow of Leonard Strong, Jr. She was loving and caring to her family and especially all of her grandchildren. She loved to read and shop from her favorite magazines. She was a member of the Church of God on Rochester Hill. Members of her family include her son, Norman Strong (Karen Williams) and Melody Viel (Tim Markland), 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers Norman and Earl.
