ROCHESTER - Ruth Lee Meader, 72, of Meaderboro Road died unexpectedly Thursday, August 11, 2016.
She was born July 15, 1944, in Strafford, N.H., the daughter of the late Clyde and Leola Gray.
She was a graduate of Austin Cate Academy and lifelong resident of this area. Ruth was instrumental with her husband in the formation of Budel Construction Corporation, Meader Supply Corporation, and Meader's Heritage Farm and their Belgian Horses. She was very well known and respected by many for her extensive knowledge of N.H. antiques and history. Ruth especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Members of her family include her husband of 55 years, Leon "Bud" Meader; son, Robert "Bob" and wife Polly Meader, daughter, Lorraine and husband Dana Rines all of Rochester; Linda and husband Dean Beachy of Ohio; grandchildren, Christine Meader and husband John Langley, Elizabeth Meader, Kimberly Meader, Heather Meader, Samuel and wife Cati Rines, Daniel and wife Paige Rines, Robert Beachy, Benjamin Beachy, David Beachy, Steven Beachy; one great grandchild, Eleanor Rines; sister, Joyce Gray of Virginia; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by Phillip Gray of Massachusetts.
