SANFORD - A Sanford man wanted after allegedly leading police on a high speed chase through Waterboro was arrested by Sanford Police on Friday during a high-risk traffic stop in the city.

According to Sanford Police Cpl. Matthew Gagne, they received information that the suspect in the chase, 24-year-old Tyler Cann, was possibly driving in a blue Chevrolet Trailblazer on High St.

Officers soon after located a vehicle matching that description and conducted a high risk traffic stop near the intersection of High and Brompton streets.
