Sanford man reported missing on Friday found trapped in his truck in Dover

SANFORD, Maine - A Sanford man reported missing on Friday was found on Saturday in Dover where he was found in his pickup truck.
Dover Police received a call from citizens walking in the woods near River and Washington streets who said they had found Robert Woods, 65, whose vehicle had slid down an embankment and become stuck.
According to a statement from Sanford Police, Woods was trapped in the vehicle.
Sanford Police joined Dover Police and Fire at the scene where Woods was found inside his pickup, freed him from the vehicle and took him to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital with what were described as nonlife threatening injuries.
Sanford Police reported Saturday that the case is still under investigation.
