DOVER - Sarah "Sally" Hannah St. Yves (Dunbar), 77, died Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Colonial Hill in Rochester following a short period of declining health. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland, August 27, 1941, the daughter of Boyd and Marion (Anderson) Dunbar of Baltimore, Maryland.
A longtime CNA, caring for others was her passion. She was a proud sponsor for the local AA Chapter in Dover, N.H.
She was well known as a generous soul always helping anyone where she could, a fun and free spirit, along with a great sense of humor. She enjoyed family gatherings, trips to go see her friends and spontaneous trips to the beach with her grandchildren.
The widow of Jack St. Yves who died in 1989, she is survived by their four children, Tom and his wife Debra St. Yves of South Thomaston, Maine, John St. Yves of Flagstaff, Ariz., Elizabeth Elick and her husband Robert of Milton, Paul St. Yves of Rochester, and former daughter in-law, Liz Croft of Rochester; her nine grandchildren Amanda, Cassandra, Alicia, Kaleb, Katrina, Jessica, Evan, Daria and Devon and eight great-grandchildren.
We would like to acknowledge Liz for her dedication to Sarah, throughout this period of declining health.
