ROCHESTER - Sewer rehabilitation work will continue from Wednesday through Friday with crews scheduled to work on Olde Farm Lane and Wentworth Avenue on Wednesday, Wakefield Street on Thursday and Museum Way during early mourning hours on Friday to minimize disruption. This schedule is subject to change.

Beginning in October the City of Rochester contracted with National Water Main Cleaning Company to perform sewer rehabilitation at various locations throughout the city.

As work progresses, residents and businesses directly affected will receive advisory notices in advance. These notices will include important information about the rehabilitation process, temporary service disruptions, parking restrictions (if applicable), and when sewer service will be reinstated.

During this work, residents may experience a temporary loss of sewer service, typically lasting several hours. Advisory notices will also provide clear instructions on how to prepare, as well as contact information for NWMCC staff who can assist with any questions or concerns.
